Slovakia: Rules for Newly Arrived Ukrainians Will Change from March 2025

Persons who obtain temporary protection status from Ukraine after February 28, 2025, will be allowed to stay in temporary refugee accommodation centers for no more than 60 days. Currently, this period is 120 days. Consequently, living assistance will also be provided for the first 60 days, rather than 120 days as has been the case since July of this year.
The changes will not apply to:

Pensioners over 65 years old
Children under five years of age
Sole caregivers of these children
