Starting from January 1, 2025, Poland will once again increase the minimum wage, and this time the increase will occur only once per year.
According to the resolution of the Council of Ministers, adopted on September 12, the gross minimum wage will be 4,666 zlotys. This is 366 zlotys more than in 2024.
As a result, workers will receive 3,510.92 zlotys “in hand” after deducting all necessary contributions:
Pension contribution: 455.40 zlotys
Disability pension contribution: 69.99 zlotys
Sickness insurance contribution: 114.32 zlotys
Health insurance: 362.37 zlotys
Advance income tax: 153 zlotys
The Minimum Hourly Rate Will Also Increase
From the new year, the gross minimum hourly rate will be 30.50 zlotys, which is over 2 zlotys more than now. For comparison, after the July increase in 2024, this rate was 28.10 zlotys gross.
