This was reported by LRT. The Vilnius office of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) noted that although the number of Ukrainian refugees arriving in the country has decreased, Lithuania still receives several dozen Ukrainians weekly.
Who can receive the payment
One-time support of 176 euros will be provided to Ukrainians and third-country nationals who first arrived in Lithuania from Ukraine and crossed the EU’s external border no earlier than 40 calendar days ago.
The following categories of refugees will be eligible for assistance:
- single parents or guardians who arrived with one child or several children under 18;
- large families with three or more children under 18;
- families with a disabled child under 18 (support will be provided to both children and adults);
- pregnant women;
- persons aged 60 and over;
- persons with disabilities.
